The angle finder or spirit level shows “no sensors”. Why?

These features rely on your device's built-in motion sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope). They work on a physical phone or tablet that has these sensors, but are not available on emulators/simulators or on some devices without the required hardware.

How accurate are the readings?

SimAngle is a convenience aid, not a certified measuring instrument. Sensor accuracy depends on your device, its calibration, temperature and how it is held. Always verify measurements independently before relying on them.

Which FOV value should I use?

Enter your screen size and seating distance and SimAngle calculates a recommended field of view. Individual games may scale FOV differently, so treat the result as a strong starting point and fine-tune to taste.

Does SimAngle collect my data?

No. The app operates entirely offline. Sensor data is processed on your device and is never uploaded. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Why does the app ask for photo or storage access?

Only if you choose to save an FOV setup image. SimAngle writes that image to your photo library or device storage on request — it never reads your existing photos or files.

Do I need an account or internet connection?

No account and no connection are required. Every feature works offline.
